Example section: ShapeTools/example
-----------------------------------

The data in this section is public data and can be used by anybody given proper acknowledgment.

For the 'hippocampus' folder, the following additional information can
be added:
The hippocampi were segmented from IR-Prepped SPGR data segmented
originally at 0.9375x0.9375x1.5mm resolution as part of an adult
schizophrenia study (mean age 32, all male gender, part of [1]). All cases have
been fully randomized and group association has been performed
qualitatively/visually to create 2 different groups. Thus the group
association is indepedent of the original diagnosis and the dataset's
purpose is purely for comparison/testing of methods and not for
studying any diagnostic effects.

Medial Shape Analysis of the Hippocampus in Schizophrenia, Medical

In regard to acknowledgment for the hippocampus data, refer to the
origin of the data, such as:
'Data was provided by M Styner, UNC Neuro Image Analysis Laboratory,
as part of the public UNC Shape Tool distribution. Original data
acquisition was funded by the Stanley Foundation.'
